San Francisco City Hall Wedding on the Mayor's Balcony

These two <3 So much joy, so much love! And also, white Keds! Alex and Maddie got married on the Mayor’s Balcony at San Francisco City Hall, which is a great choice when you want to invite more guests, have your own officiant, and recite your own vows. Thank you Alex and Maddie for having me document your commitment to one another!

San Francisco City Hall wedding with marigolds

Marigold + mint bouquet, gold sneakers, scarves, dancing… this wedding had so many sweet elements! In addition to growing their own bouquet, Bill and Katherine gifted their guests marigold seeds (I got some, too!) which connects their special day to future blooms in the gardens of their community. In addition, marigolds are good companion plants: they protect a wide variety of plants from pests and harmful weeds. If you plant a marigold beside most any garden vegetable, that vegetable will be healthier. What a lovely metaphor.

San Francisco City Hall wedding with Classic Cable Car tour to Fort Point and Baker Beach

A perfect spring day graced this wedding that began at San Francisco City Hall and adventured around the city in a Classic Cable Car, stopping at Fort Point and Baker Beach. What is better than dancing on a trolley car, drinking Veuve Clicquot while simultaneously taking in the view of the Golden Gate Bridge? Not much! Felicitations à Anna et Rabea!

San Francisco City Hall wedding with chihuahuas

This wedding party included furry friends! Jillian and Matthew brought along their kids, by which I mean their dogs. They dressed up for the fun, and I was equal parts laughing and barking (to get the dog's attention) I love shoots like this!

Dress by BHLDN. Jewelry was hand designed by Brooklyn designer Emily Amey, bracelet by Mikimoto. Matt’s suit was Cifonelli, shoes were Allen Edmonds. Hair by Huy at Revamp Salon;  Doggie outfits by PetcoNot just Flowers in the Castro did the bouquet and Matt’s boutonnière.
