helloWelcome

I’m Lydia! I photograph weddings and families in a natural and playful way. I’ve been shooting weddings of all shapes and sizes for 16 years. I love the energy, heart, and connections that weddings celebrate. My style is documentary wedding photography, infused with joy.

While the coronavirus pandemic lasts, I am available for outdoor mini weddings, family shoots, and portraits, while adhering to safety protocols and social distance throughout the shoot.

My purpose is to help you remember the moments that matter, reflected by love. And to show you parts of the day that you may not have noticed.

The essentialsCity Hall

Concentrate on the essentials, without the stress of a larger production. I've photographed 100+ weddings here, know the ins and outs of the building, and can guide you through the process.

Family

I bring a sense of play and silliness to create authentic smiles all around. I’m a proud auntie of three and former camp counselor for years (second-best job ever—after photographer!).

Highlights

MAYOR’S BALCONY
San Francisco City Hall

There’s something about being held in a circle by your close friends and family while reciting vows to one another. Plus I love a bride in white sneakers!

EAST BAY REDWOODS
Piedmont Community Hall

The ceremony included a musical performance by their friends, and a honey ritual rooted in Persian tradition. The poetry of Hafiz was recited underneath the redwood trees.

4TH FLOOR BALCONY
San Francisco City Hall

It was hard not to jump for joy along with these two lovebirds! Ted and Raz traveled from Hong Kong to San Francisco City Hall to marry one another.
